In our sessions, you'll have dedicated time and space to explore what's going on for you.

I work from an integrative approach, person-centred counselling forms the foundation of our work together. I believe that healing begins within a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and acceptance. From this foundation, we can explore your experiences, gain a deeper understanding of the patterns that may be affecting you, and discover new ways of moving forward.

Where it feels appropriate, I may incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), and mindfulness techniques to support your individual goals. Every person is unique, so therapy is always adapted to meet your needs rather than asking you to fit into one particular model.

Initial Consultation

Let's See If We're
a Good Fit

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and it's completely normal to feel nervous about reaching out.

I offer a free 30 minute telephone call where we can discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have, and help you get a sense of how I work.

There is no obligation to book any sessions.
I encourage you to speak with a range of therapists before making your decision, as finding the right therapeutic relationship is an important part of the counselling process.

What I Work With

I work with adults 18+ experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and life challenges. Below highlights some of the areas

I commonly support clients with, however it is not limited to this. Whatever has brought you to counselling, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss how we might work together.

Grief & Loss

Grief is a deeply personal experience, and there is no right or wrong way to navigate it. Whether your loss is recent or something you've been carrying for many years, therapy can offer a space to acknowledge your grief, make sense of your emotions, and move forward in a way that honours your experience.

I have experience supporting individuals through many forms of loss, recognising that grief extends far beyond bereavement. Loss can affect our sense of identity, relationships, hopes for the future, and the life we imagined for ourselves. Together, we can gently explore these experiences in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space.

My clinical experience includes working within NHS counselling services supporting individuals affected by pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, ectopic pregnancy, infertility, baby loss, abortion and TFMR (Termination for Medical Reasons). I also work alongside individuals and families affected by cancer through Macmillan Cancer Support, supporting people as they navigate the emotional impact of diagnosis, treatment, uncertainty, anticipatory grief, and life-limiting illness.

  • Grief, bereavement, and loss

  • Cancer and life-limiting diagnoses

  • Miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and baby loss

  • Infertility and fertility-related challenges

  • TFMR (Termination for Medical Reasons)

  • Abortion

  • Pregnancy after loss and postnatal depression

Life Transitions

Life is full of transitions, and even positive changes can bring uncertainty, overwhelm, or a sense of loss. Whether you're navigating a change in relationships, becoming a parent, changing careers, moving home, or adjusting to a new stage of life, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what you're experiencing.

Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings, and challenges that come with change, helping you move forward in a way that feels authentic to you and aligned with your values.

  • Relationship endings (divorce, breakups)

  • Identity exploration and shifts

  • Becoming a parent or empty nesting
