Record Keeping
Liberty Therapy operates the following record retention periods;

If you contact Liberty Therapy but do not become a client, your enquiry information will normally be retained for up to four months following our last communication before being securely deleted.

If counselling services are provided, client records will normally be retained for seven years following the end of therapy.
This retention period reflects professional practice requirements, insurance obligations, legal considerations and BACP guidance on record keeping and accountability.
Records are securely destroyed once the retention period has expired.
